- during "Get Up, Stand Up" Peter Tosh, ex-member of The Wailers, joined the band by taking the lead vocals of the song and singing a duet with Marley. It was the last Marley and Tosh would perform together on stage.
- now famous singer Ben Harper, then a little boy, attended the show and later stated to "have seen God that evening".
